can i pay those on sat the 2nd? or does it need to mailed some where before the event?

Kim Chan is the club treasurer this year. If you see her at the event, she would probably accept your renewal. Best way would be to mail it to her (with the renewal form she emailed everyone), or give it to her at the club meeting.
